We have partnered with a leading land development and property management company to help identify an Administrative Assistant to support our clients Contracts / Purchasing department. This is more of a Junior Contracts Administrative role, entailing more of the admin related duties. This role just required an experienced office / administrative assistant with a strong attention to detail.
In this role you would be responsible for the development, management, and tracking of purchase orders; contracts and change orders. Job duties will entail creating and routing purchase orders, contracts and change orders using various company contract forms; manage, purchase and track approved items and equipment and manage the budget for these purchases; track and update budgets, committed funds, and open orders related to assigned requisitions and purchase orders; create and manage reports for open purchase orders for the procurement teams; close PO’s at the direction of the Procurement and Project teams; act as a liaison between the Legal department and vendor if there is a conflict with a contract for a resolution; validate the insurance compliance for each of the approved vendors in the database; provide customer service to communities and vendors regarding projects and purchase orders; and assist with other duties as needed. This position is a long term temporary role estimated to last until February 2018 but offers a foot in the door of a top company always hiring our top talent into their teams. Hours are M-F from 8am – 5pm but they are open to a flexible schedule for the right person. Pay is $20-22/hr.
We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills and have the ability to prioritize. Your main responsibility will be creating contracts daily which at times can be repetitive but each contract is unique and requires several supporting documents. Therefore attention to detail is a must with the ability to spot our errors and not be afraid to ask for missing documents from upper management. Strong computer skills and proficiency using MS Office is required. BA/BS degree is required.
