Volt is seeking repair techs who can assist in performing all the duties within the Depot Project Team with our Client. 6 months to 1 year of related experience is required.

SUMMARY - Repair computer and other related electronic equipment. Sorting and delivering parts for backorder and billable orders. Imaging units, hard drive wipes, profile set-ups, LCD repairs and server configurations. Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Repair and Assembles IT related equipment.
Be able to interconnect a wide range of electrical peripherals.
Reports on adequacy and accuracy of procedures to the supervisor.
Generates documentation for time cards, integrated work instructions and procedures.
Assists generating corrective action input or opinions.
Provides feedback on problems to Project Lead.
Uses hand tools effectively and safely.
Adhere to company policies, ISO requirements, 5S, safety, and quality workmanship.
Supports continual improvement efforts.
Other duties as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - One-year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred; 6 months to 1 year related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS - The position also requires knowledge of basic hardware and software functions. The Project team member should have the writing skills to enter the data in the job ticket correctly. Organizational skills are essential.
