Volt Workforce Solutions is supporting a client who has been devising and developing major advances for the treatment of allergies since 1923.  In recent years, together with their global partners, they have invested substantially in the research and development of new, evidence-based allergy immunotherapy treatments.  They have entered into partnerships with Torii, Abbott, and Seqirus to commercialize allergy immunotherapy tablets in Japan, Russia, and South-East Asia as well as Australia and New Zealand. This client has over 2,000 employees globally are headquartered in Denmark.  They are a world leader in allergy immunotherapy and they work to improve the quality of life for allergy sufferers.

Job Title: Account Manager (Inside Sales Representative) Department: Outside Sales

Holder of Position: FLSA Status: Full-time; Exempt

Date of Hire: Directly Reports To: Inside Sales Supervisor

Position Summary: Responsible for an assigned territory to promote and build business relationships with our customers and potential customers

General Purpose: Maintain and grow our current book of business by qualifying accounts; educating accounts on the benefits of products and services; determining obstacles to closing new business; making doctors aware of special promotions; passing leads to Allergy Consultants

Role Qualifications:

? Must have the ability to get potential and existing customers interested in switching to or continuing to use company products

? Must constantly evaluate ways to qualify accounts and sell our products and company via the phone, direct mailings, e-mail, webinars,

fax, and visits with Allergy Consultants

? Must closely monitor, analyze and act on sales trends of accounts within the assigned territory

? Must be able to probe accounts effectively to determine current practices and to understand their current product needs

? Must have a responsible, organized and service-oriented approach to assignments, customers and colleagues

? Must suggest new solutions and better practices for the department and participate in department/company meetings

Position Responsibilities:

? Make outbound calls to qualify accounts and proactively present & sell to targeted accounts

? Perform as the primary sales contact for the assigned set of accounts within the territory

? Build relationships to ensure sales growth within the assigned territory

? Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities for sales development

? Promptly follow-up on leads generated from trade shows or other promotional activities

? Collaborate with Allergy Consultants to ensure customers receive face-to-face visits when needed

? Work closely with Allergy Consultants to build the sales territory – Develop pricing proposals and negotiate pricing agreements within the discounting guidelines

? Generate additional revenue through various product promotions – distribute promotions by e-mail, fax and outbound calls to generate additional interest

? Travel with Allergy Consultants to further develop relationships with key accounts within the territory

? Input practice information into our CRM database to ensure that we have all current account information

? Attend various tradeshows or meetings as assigned

? Record activities and provide requested reports to the Director of Sales

? Assist with other projects as business needs arise.

? Travel up to 10-20% of the time to attend trade shows, visit accounts with Allergy Consultants, or attend training courses

Essential Skills & Experience:

? Bachelor’s degree and/or related experience

? Superior written and verbal communication skills

? Tenacious character and excellent probing skills with the ability to build rapport with customers instantly

? Goal-oriented and intrinsically-motivated

? Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills

? Organized in order to balance the expectations of a multitude of internal and external stake-holders

? Ability to deal with adversity and able to strike a good balance between customer and company needs

? Computer-literate and knowledge of MS Office Suite

? Positive team player and assertive

? Sales experience in the pharmaceutical/medical industry preferred but not required
