Wafer Fabrication Technician(s)

Schedule:   Rotating 12 hour shifts 

(6am-6:15pm, Friday-Sunday, every other Thursday)

(6pm-6:15am Friday-Sunday, Every other Thursday)   

***Other shifts may become available

Base pay:  $15hr-$17hr DOE+ shift differential if eligible 

Duration: Temp to hire

Location: Woburn,MA

Primary Responsibilities

Performs wafer fabrication functions in the production and testing of semiconductor devices.  Operates equipment in performing photo-lithography, wet / dry etch processing, thin films (metals) deposition, on-wafer testing, grind and scribe processing.  In senior and highly skilled levels, may perform equipment set-up and calibration, lead, assign direct and train other Wafer Fabrication Technicians and perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.


  • Minimum of High School diploma, or equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (preferably semiconductor)
  • Computer skills – able to navigate directory/folders using MS office applications
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Able to perform microscopic inspections for extended periods
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English is required
  • Able to work in clean room and wear clean room garments for extended periods 
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a larger team of technicians
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in a fast paced environment
  • Must be a team player and willing to work hard to help company succeed
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and have the ability to work overtime on short notice, as required
  • Must be able to work in all areas of Fab Operations including photolithography, wet / dry etch processing, thin films (metals) deposition, on wafer testing, Grind and Scribe processing
