Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a 1ST SHIFTMATERIAL COORDINATOR / HANDLER in the City of ONTARIO California.

**** PAY RATE: $17.50 an hour ****

REQUIREMENTS: 

- MUST have at least 1 - 3 years of Experience in: Using ERP System, Forklift Experience, Pallet Jack and RAW Material Handling.

- MUST have High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

- MUST have experience with the Sit-Down Forklift, Reach Forklift, Pallet Jacks, RF Scanners, Dolly. 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

- Checks IQMS Schedule and Work Orders to supply of Raw Materials and Components used in the INJECTION MOLDING MACHINES in the production department. 

Obtains Mattec print out to determine how much material is needed to prevent over-mix.

- Uses Daily Schedule for production and consults with Floor Supervisor regarding any changes.

- Checks all machines in production to maintain full hoppers. Moves runners from machine to location of grinders. Checks areas around machinery for oil spills or debris and then does necessary clean-up.

- Checks lot numbers, maintains inventory by FIFO (First in, First Out).

- Logs in information on raw material sheets for each machine. Weighs and mixes regrind / colorant when used in W/O. Weighs, labels, verifies, regrinds, colorant and stores left over materials after production runs or mold samples.

- Audits Inventory, Cleans, maintains, and stores all material handling equipment.

- Records material lot numbers on control charts and in Mattec and pulls necessary raw materials from warehouse rack using wired reach trucks and RF Scanners.

- Performs Set Ups and Tear Downs of necessary auxiliary equipment needed to perform production demands.

- Maintains material mixing area (keeps clean and in order).

- Must be computer literate.

- Obtains material from warehouse as needed. Organizes and maintains pallet storage area. 

- MUST be able to Stand, Walk, Stoop, Kneel, Bend, Push, Lift, Reach and Carry. 

- MUST Speak, Read and Write English. Good Communication Skills.

- MUST be able to work OVER TIME and WEEKENDS as needed. 

*** 1ST SHIFT: 7:30AM – 4:00PM +MANDATORY OT and Weekends as Needed ***
