Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking Electrical Systems Design Engineers and Fabrication/Testing Engineers for our client in Kent, WA. 

Are you self-motivated?  Do you enjoy working in a team collaborative environment?  Do you have Space Systems and/or Space Vehicle experience or the desire to be?  Then these positions are right for you. You will be responsible for the integration of the various systems in the labs and the vehicle for a space application.  The position provides an opportunity work with an experienced, interdisciplinary team to develop unique systems to meet challenging requirements on a dynamic development program. And works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.

These positions require an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Education:

  • Must have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

These position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Customer interaction (internal and external) to develop and document complex avionics, electronic and electrical system lab requirements/architectures, including simulation requirements
  • Translate their requirements into lab architecture, hardware and software simulation designs and interface specifications
  • Develops trade studies, analyzes results, and performs design reviews
  • Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and lab installation designs (e.g., power, harness routing and payloads)
  • Supports fabrication and integration through disciplined trouble-shooting, problem-reporting, and root-cause corrective action processes.  Integration activities involve avionics, mechanical systems and software.
  • Conducts tests and validates electrical system to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Electrical Systems integration experience
  • Space-related product / program experience (i.e. satellites, spacecraft, missile systems, etc.)
