Must Haves

Minimum 3 years of sales, customer management, consulting or related experience

Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills

Experience working with senior executive level personnel

Experience negotiating or facilitating resolution to customer problems

Salesforce Experience (Plus)

SaaS/ Software/ Subscription Based Exp (Plus)

Job Brief:

As part of the Customer Success team, the account manager is responsible for engaging customers to ensure they are maximizing the value of the services purchased. The account manager must thrive on working in a fast-paced, exciting environment, creating value for the client and have strong account management and customer service skills. Adaptability, agility, emotional intelligence, networking skills, and communication skills are just a few of the essential skills needed to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

Job Duties:

  • Establish a professional working relationship with day to day users up to the executive level
  • Manage a pipeline of renewal opportunities within a set of existing accounts and deliver results against a quota
  • Responsible for all phases of the renewal sales cycle
  • Provide timely risk analysis to direct manager as well as track customer interaction, leveraging Salesforce
  • Articulate and present the value delivered by the products and services to various levels within an organization to ensure a renewal
  • Work in a team environment to ensure contracts are renewed
  • Leverage the broader internal team to address client satisfaction issues
  • Present a professional image via communication skills, both proactively and when under duress
  • Partner with cross-departmental teams to ensure success of customers, as well as success of the business goals

Requirements:

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent career experience
  • Minimum 3 years of sales, customer management, consulting or related experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with senior executive level personnel
  • Experience negotiating or facilitating resolution to customer problems
  • Efficient work habits that allow for a significant level of multi-tasking
  • Proven track record of achieving performance goals
