Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk.  The Accounting Clerk is to support the accounting department in most general accounting functions which includes accounts receivable, invoicing, and inventory control. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn other accounting business programs. A successful candidate must be able to multi task and meet processing deadlines and assist with office management responsibilities. 


  • Ensures data is entered accurately and a timely manner
  • Invoice creation, ensure proper invoice terms  
  • Invoice audits and review
  • Maintaining accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and information related to inventory controls
  • Assisting the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes, and assisting with other accounting functions 
  • Assist in other departments such as front desk as needed


  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2 year college or multiple years related accounting experience 
  • Computational and analytical skills required
  • Advanced math reasoning required
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills 
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and computerized accounting applications
  • Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Team Player and positive attitude
