 Administrative Assistant II 


A local leading organization is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant II – in Miami FL for a long-term temporary to hire opportunity. 

The Administration Coordinator provides non-clinical support for the policies and procedures ensuring best and most appropriate treatment, care or services for members. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

Responsibilities for Administrative Assistant include but are not limited to the following:

Additional requirements
 High School Diploma or equivalent
 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
 Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems
 Intermediate in Microsoft Office Word and beginner skills with Excel
 Good interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field
Prior healthcare experience in hospital, physician office and/or health plan
Previous managed care experience
Prior referral experience
Bi-lingual - English/Spanish
Familiar with ICD-10 and CPT codes, medical terminology
Previous experience in a call center setting and production environment 

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • High School diploma/ GED
  • 1 to 3 Years of Experience
  • Team player and excellent interpersonal skills with a professional appearance and friendly disposition
  •  Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure independently; Sensitivity to confidential matters; Flexibility with regard to overtime; Educational requirements may vary based on job level;
  • Minimum HS Diploma or equivalent required

Monday-Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm May have to work alternating Saturdays; typically, hrs. on Saturday

Pay for this position is $15.00. /hr plus overtime as needed. This is a temporary opportunity with the possibility for extension based on performance and attendance.
