The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting VP Leadership at the facility located in Lexington, SC, including the Vice-President and other business unit leaders.  He/she will assist in performing all tasks necessary to effectively maintain daily operations along with coordination with all other administrative associates within the organization both domestic and abroad.

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide critical and daily support to the executive leadership team and human resources as needed
  • Assess the urgency and importance of situations and take the appropriate action to determine the necessary level of involvement
  • Execute with a high level of accuracy on special reporting and analytical projects
  • Compose correspondence as needed on both routine and complex matters
  • Schedule and organize activities such as meetings, luncheons, travel requirements, and department activities as required
  • Assist in ordering and maintaining onsite supplies
  • Send and pick up mail & packages as required
  • Complete expense reports accurately, within a timely manner and to meet accounting guidelines
  • Support in managing timelines and hold others accountable to commitments in preparation for discussions and decision making sessions
  • Establish appointment priorities and schedule appointments as necessary and appropriate
  • Manage calendars accurately on a daily basis; know where Team members accordingly to expedite communication as needed
  • Handle regular support duties as required
  • Minimal travel as needed (locally for errands; to other facility or domestic meeting locations)

Essential Experience and Skills

  • High School Diploma required, Associates or Undergraduate Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of previous executive level support experience within a multi-structured environment.  Supporting multiple senior leaders simultaneously preferable.
  • Strong demonstration of being detail oriented and extremely organized; completes tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Self-motivator; brings energy and enthusiasm to their work
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner with all levels of management; demonstrated ability to change direction in response to changing work situations
  • Proactive, able to deal with ambiguity, prioritize work resources, and juggle multiple tasks in a manner transparent to the team.   Demonstrated project management skills a plus
  • Excellent time management skills – keeps self and team on time with schedules
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently to achieve results; thinks independently as needed to optimize calendars and budget; able to be creative in finding solutions with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group that involve contact at all levels of management
  • Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and ability to accommodate working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals
  • Demonstrated maturity to be entrusted with the knowledge and handling of confidential information; maintains confidentiality
  • Comfort with technology; Demonstrated and extensive knowledge of and proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
