Job Description

Volt is hiring for a Customer Support Representative/Administrative Assistant for our client in Edison, NJ for their growing operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • High volume Data Entry / Filing / Customer Service (speak to clients on the phone)
  • Proper phone etiquette (positive, friendly, calm demeanor)
  • Troubleshoot various types of problems - Handling irregularities and prevent re-occurrence
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Respond to all inquiries in a timely manner
  • High volume of phone calls 
  • Receive required requisitions from customers
  • Coordinate with other departments for shipping/packing
  • Ensure that files contain all necessary document copies in proper sequence
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1+ year experience in Customer Service or
  • Pro-active, detail oriented, and able to multi-task
  • Must possess a sense of urgency and dedication to meet all deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Work hours & Environment
Normal working hours for this position are Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, however, overtime is often required.
