Job Description

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information as wells as processing orders using an ERP system.

Your tasks

The Administrative Assistant will help ensure that the Sales Order process runs efficiently for our biotechnology organization headquartered in Auburn. You will be a competent point of contact for both customers and sales representatives regarding all of their account-related questions and concerns. You will also expertly use your skills to process quotes and orders, while simultaneously maintaining customer account records and processing data in an ERP system. Responsible for ensuring contracts are processed in a timely and efficient manner to allow for accurate product manufacture, meeting delivery expectations and billing.

Your profile

  • You possess an A.A. degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Procurement, Account Management or Supply Chain highly desirable
  • You have 2-4 years of experience processing orders and maintaining accounts
  • Heavy Order Entry, experience with ERP or SAP systems preferred
  • Outstanding customer service skills and communicating with external and internal partners
  • You have excellent computer skills
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
