We are currently working with a local Miami CPA firm has immediate needs for Audit Managers. Are you tired of the Big 4 hours? Want to remain challenged in the public accounting sector? With it tenured team of audit and tax professionals, the firm has been recognized repeatedly in the industry. When their clients are facing complex accounting issues the look to them for expert advice.

The Opportunity 

The Audit Manager will play a key role in that growth. Managing external audit projects, communicating directly with clients. Developing your career, setting strategic goals both internally and externally. Listening to and understanding our clients to give them a truly exceptional experience in a field where there really are no off-the-shelf recommendations. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

No two projects will ever be the same, you must be agile and be able to rise to the challenge to develop answers to complex issues. You will also be collaborating with colleagues across other service lines to build relationships and identify opportunities for our clients to benefit from our knowledge in other areas.

Skills and attributes for success 

  • Consulting with clients on complex accounting issues 
  • Collaborating with partners, senior managers and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations 
  • Ensuring our Engagement team thoroughly understands our clients’ unique needs, ambitions and expectations 
  • Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service 
  • Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve our products and processes 


  • BBA in Accounting, CPA/MBA is a plus
  • 5 - 8 years work experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm 
  • Strong technical writing skills and advanced risk management knowledge 
  • Solid understanding of auditing / accounting terms, processes and tools 
  • Track record of excellence when managing, mentoring and improving a team of high-performing colleagues 
  • Demonstrated ability to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies
