Sebastopol, CA

Volt Workforce Solutions has an opening for a Business Analyst position for a large client based in Sebastopol, CA. You will be responsible for analyzing business systems to align the IT/'ERP system with efficient business processes unique to this company. This is a Direct Hire position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Apply NAV/Business Central functional knowledge of modules such as manufacturing, warehousing, and finance to the complex business problems and provide consultancy part of the Global NAV team
  • Advocate for Operations staff in process design and hardware selection.
  • Testing and documenting processes and application instructions
  • Provide consultancy and support in analyzing application of ERP systems to Manzana’s operation requirements.
  • Analyze business systems to align the ERP system with efficient business processes unique to company. 
  • Maintain and perform NAV application configuration using Microsoft RAPID Start Services and provide support in installation and user sign offs
  • Perform NAV system testing for the monthly release cycle and minor/major upgrades.
  • Log support incidents, problems, updates and documentation in Zen Desk support system.
  • Take an active role in implementation projects including GAP/FIT Analysis, capturing business requirements, UAT, and post go-live support.
  • Collaborate with contractors and external vendors in order to resolve issues.


  • Experience with configuration, troubleshooting, problem resolution, performance tuning, disaster recovery. scheduled processing (batch) for transaction administration, reporting, interfaces, file imports/exports, and EDI transaction process.
  • Hands-on experience applying software to manufacturing needs and troubleshooting.
  • Practical knowledge with Windows 8/10 operating systems, Windows servers, and standard networking protocols
  • Prior recognition for providing outstanding customer service and problem resolution for end-users experiencing hardware and software issues
  • 3+ years of functional/development experience with Microsoft Dynamics – NAV versions 2016 or higher (preferably certified). Technical experience working with NAV Server administration and MS SQL Server administration and working with 3rd party add-ins.
  • Familiarity with CAL/AL programming a plus.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications a plus
