Job Summary%?3C/b>

Utilize CAD / CAM education an? d/or experience to translate tooling requirements into controlle? d CAD and CAM files.

Respons? ibilities:

  • D? ocuments engineering designs of process tooling, fixtures &? ; mechanisms used throughout the production facility
  • ?
    • Documents plant layout (location of machinery)
    • Creates and maintains CAD drawings for molds%2? C machined parts, tools and machines
    • Crea? tes CAM files for CNC machinery
    • Interfaces%?20with engineers, designers, machine shop supervisor, tradesme? n
    • Creates, updates, maintains Bills of ? Materials for projects
    • May recommend and ma? nage re-order points and quantities for machine spares, mach? ine shop materials and tools.
    • May work ? with the machine shop supervisor to Identify and interface wit? h external machine shops as needed to meet deadlines and/or%?20to obtain services not available internally.
    • %3? Cli>May occasionally visit supplier locations to deliver or re? trieve machines parts
      • Maintains safe and cl? ean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and ? regulations.
      • Contributes to team effort by%?20accomplishing related results.
      • Creates the%?20assembly drawing and/or machine designs
      • O? ther duties as assigned

      Requirements:

      • Intermediate to high le? vel of expertise the use and application of AutoCad Inventor%2? 0CAD/CAM, documentation control and change management. Strong%?20communication skills, capability to learn mold design and ma? nufacture, scheduling, organization
      • Develops%?20resolutions to problems of low to moderate scope. Follows ? standard practices and procedures.
      • Technical%?20School Graduate, Associates Degree, and/or 5+ years of%2? 0relevant experience. Equivalent combination of education and ex? perience with demonstrated proficiency will be considered.
