            VOLT is hiring for one its world-renowned clients. This company is on the leading technological edge of energy and material recovery from scrapped and discarded tires.   Our patented depolymerization process converts whole tires into carbon, oil, syngas and steel.  We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals with experience in the field of Computer Aided Design to help create detailed drawings of the equipment used in our product recovery process.

Primary duties of the position will include:

  • Conversion of existing Solidworks 3D drawings for equipment into 2D drawings on PRTI titleblocks.
  • Work in conjunction with the engineering team on creation of new Solidworks 3D and 2D, part and assembly drawings for existing equipment, including structures, piping and instrumentation.
  • Creation of a parts library for drawings of purchased parts.
  • Organization of drawings into structured libraries and bills of materials.

Requirements for the position:

  • Experience and expertise in creating and refining Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams and Process Flow Diagrams
  • Experience using Solidworks to create 3D and 2D part and assembly drawings with sufficient detail for use by equipment fabrication shops.
  • Individual should be comfortable working in an industrial oil and gas environment, and will need to frequently spend time taking dimensional measurements on the existing process equipment to assist in the creation of new drawings.
  • Experience with design for metal fabrication processes including welding is desired but not required.
