Calibration technicians will maintain, test and calibrate a variety of instruments and equipment. They will make sure that instruments and equipment are calibrated on-time and ensure they are producing accurate readings.  They will prepare calibration certificates, data reports, and written recommendations for department heads and upper management. They will immediately report if the instruments are out of tolerance and identify whether they need to be replaced. Technicians must follow instructions given to them from their Quality department and have effective written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to interpret standard operating procedures. Ability to work quickly and effectively without constant supervision. Experience in MS office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to regularly be able to move up to 35 lbs. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual-Spanish is preferred but not required.

Education: High School diploma, or equivalent, required.


Experience in calibrating caliper, micrometers, timer, comparator, load, temperature controller, weights, data logger.

1-2 years in shop or manufacturing environment experience is preferred.
