Position: Chemical Reactor Operator

Location: Indianapolis, IN (West side)

Status: Direct Hire Opportunity

VOLT is seeking experienced Chemical Reactor Operator’s for one of our client’s locations on Indianapolis’ West side. This opportunity is a Direct Hire role.

This role is responsible for producing products by following detailed recipes and procedures. Includes the operation of tanks, valves, pumps, and associated control devices.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing product slurries for spray drying by precisely blending individual metal slurries based on a pre-determined recipe
  • Implementation of health, safety, environmental, and quality related procedures in respective area
  • Troubleshoot/Problem solve reactor and blending operations
  • Gain a working knowledge of process chemistry.

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Education: high school diploma or equivalent    
  • Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred: basic chemical knowledge preferred         
  • Knowledge and Abilities: ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator. May be asked to participate in confined space entry which would require the use of harness, entry through manway etc.
