Job Description

Volt is seeking a Legal Billing Clerk in the Burbank, CA area. The Billing Clerk must have experience with reviewing, auditing, reducing, rejecting, and processing law firm invoices or has experience preparing law firm hourly billing invoices and sending to clients. Knowledgeable of what a law firm invoice looks like and should include. This is a remote temporary contract in the Burbank/ Los Angeles area for the next 4 months with possible extension.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manual entering of 3rd party invoices and checks into e-Billing system
  • Updating gathered data in excel spreadsheet
  • Reviewing and auditing of new matters to assign account coding, check that the invoice approval route is correct, and for assigning any special reporting flags related to insurance covered matters (would be trained on this)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

Must Haves:

Experience reviewing law firm invoices or at least experience reviewing detailed hourly billed invoices. Data entry - must be detailed and accurate. Dependable and able to work independently from home. Experience with Outlook and Excel and Internet.


9:00am to 6:00pm PST (There is no overtime at this time)
