Job Description

Volt is seeking a CMM Programmer for the Santa Ana, CA area.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• * Advanced PC-DMIS programming skills on Hexagon CMM machine.

• Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a certified AS9100 company, manufacturing high precision complex parts.

• Creating certificate of conformances, filling out dimensional inspection reports and verification / collection of supplier certificate of conformances to ship to the customer.

• Class A precision mechanical Inspector.

• Must work well in a team, be helpful to others, and be able to lead.

• Blueprint reading & GD&T proficiency is a must.

• Must have experience with assembling a dimensional inspection report, customer inspection data packages, reviewing certificate of conformances for special processes and materials.

• Experience with standard aerospace zero acceptance quality limit sampling plans.

• Proficient, Experience with standard measuring tools, including surface plates.

• Experience handling tool calibration, calibration cycles and tool crib control.

• Detail oriented, proactive with an aptitude to learn and grow in the company.

• Good math, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Able to calculate true position defined by basic dimensions (GD&T)

• Excellent organization and follow up skills.

Required Skills: • Excellent communication, verbal, and mathematical skills. • Strict adherence to deadlines and ability to work independently. • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. • Fast learner and knows how to be proactive. • Candidate must be patient while maintaining a sense of urgency. • Good analytical skills. • Creative problem-solving skills. • Ability to work alone or as part of a team. This position is full-time, 1stshift, with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8AM to 4:30PM. (Overtime is allow if permitted)
