Computer Repair Technician in Sacramento, CA at Volt

Are you looking for a great opportunity to work for a well-known technology company where you can utilize your computer repair skills?  If so, Volt Workforce Solutions has just the position for you! We are currently seeking Computer Repair Technicians in the Elk Grove area. We have both day and afternoon shifts available and these positions are working Monday through Friday. As a Technician, you will:

• Boot up systems from external drives running operating systems and diagnostic suites
• Run software diagnostic packages to test system performance
• Pull and analyze software test logs to identify failed components
• Use electronic troubleshooting knowledge to debug failed systems
• Using hand tools, disassemble, repair/rework and reassemble desktops and portable systems
• Enter test and repair/rework data into shop floor systems (Filemaker Based)
• Create and maintain Excel Spreadsheets as required

Requirements:

• Computer Technology Associates Degree or a A+ Certification
• 1-2 years of experience in computer repair
• Ability to collect technical data and input into database.
• Basic Excel experience required.
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and push and pull objects up to 50 lbs.
• Candidate must pass a pre-employment screen
