Job summary

Our client a world renown moving and storage company is looking for an Inside Sales Manager to join us at their corporate headquarters in Raleigh, NC. The incumbent will lead and inspire the sales organization to reach ambitious revenue goals while identifying and implementing team member growth and development opportunities. 

Primary job responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the hiring, training and development of a high-volume contact center sales team.
  • Accountable for achieving budgeted monthly sales plan across inbound and outbound sales teams.
  • Manage approximately 50 direct reports and ensure teams are achieving daily KPIs.
  • Mentor sales leaders and representatives to drive revenue and promote effective sales strategies.
  • Create and implement growth and development plans for sales team leaders and representatives.
  • Measure and report on KPIs, providing analysis and recommendations based on trends.
  • Report sales team performance to senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Maintain close working relationships with members of the leadership team to contribute to the strategic success of the company. 
  • Regularly conduct performance assessments of sales leaders and representatives and act as needed regarding results and progress.

Required skills

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a leadership role, preferably within a sales capacity.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in sales role.
  • Prior sales accountability experience.
  • Prior experience in an inbound/outbound contact center environment. 
  • Strong sales mentality with a demonstrated ability to meet revenue growth objectives.
  • Relationship-oriented, with a professional appearance and capacity to build credibility at all levels including C-level executives.
  • Professional level written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong and effective negotiation skills.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle a high-pressure environment with significant timeline pressures.
  • Knowledge of moving/storage or logistics industry is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
