Are you looking for a stable position with a worldwide, nationally recognized company? Do you have 3 - 5 years experience in Contracts and looking to expand their knowledge into Purchasing too?  If so, we want to speak to you.

We have partnered with a large company in Fountain Valley to help identify an experienced Contracts & Purchasing Assistant Manager.

In this role you will assist in:

  • Write contracts and working with legal for approval
  • Scope of work writing (SOW)
  • Manage the purchasing functions of all indirect items for a specified business unit
  • Manage the bid process; including solicitation, analysis, negotiations and evaluation recommendations
  • Prepare purchase orders and enter terms and conditions into company system
  • Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships including review of supplier performance
  • Analyze company purchasing requirements, savings and other purchasing activities

We are looking for someone with:

  • 3-5 years of contracts experience
  • Experience in scope writing
  • Have excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience in purchasing is highly preferred but not required
  • A BA/BS Degree is required

This position is a temp to hire position for the right person. Pay rate is very negotiable based on experience.
