Job Description

Volt has partnered with a publicly traded $1B Chemicals company, to identify a strong Credit Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for maintaining, supervising, and recommending credit and collections policies and procedures, including the investigation of new customers, extending credit lines, granting credit and following-up on making collection arrangements for overdue account balances. You may handle the more complex and larger accounts. Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting functions and prepare reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances and other financial results.
• Formulate and administer approved accounting practices throughout the organization to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business and provide reliable information necessary to control operations; manage general accounting staff.
• Plan, organize and direct all the activities of the cost accounting function.
• Manage day to day operations of the existing cost accounting function from management of current rates to monthly close and analysis.
• Partner with Plant Manager to support corporate objectives and drive financial/operational targets set forth by upper management.
• Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent
  • 5 or more years of management experience
  • Must have good solid management and technical skills
  • $500M or higher company experience
