Volt is currently in search of a Customer Service Representative.  

essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
• Communicates via telephone and email with Coalition members and resolves inquiries or directs them
to appropriate staff if necessary
• Keeps records of customer interactions, process accounts and file documents
• Performs all aspects of data entry/management for Coalition members
• Maintains organization and record/file structure for Coalition member reporting including, but not
limited to, farm evaluation surveys, nitrogen management summary reports, and irrigation and
nitrogen management summary reports
• Assists with Coalition member invoicing and distribution (email and mail)
• Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments
• Assists staff as necessary with Coalition membership and educational outreach, including occasional
evening events
• Assists with the collection of water samples using proper sampling techniques and electronic field
• Regular attendance and adherence to prescribed work schedule to conduct job responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned

• Modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
ability to:
• Communicate effectively both verbally and written

• Effectively represent the Coalition’s functions with the public and other agencies
• Analyze situations and take effective action
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Any combination of education and experience that will provide the necessary knowledge and abilities will be considered acceptable. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities is:

Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade with previous training and/or experience with Microsoft Office programs

One year experience in performing customer service and using standard computer programs; Bilingual language skills (Spanish) are beneficial, but not required.
