Job Description

Volt is hiring immediately for a Customer Service Representative in the Providence, RI area!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assumes responsibility for processing EDI posting logs
    • Sending picking tickets to warehouses
    • Releasing supplier PO’s
    • Sending PO’s to suppliers
  • Review and communicate shortages/overages from our warehouses and suppliers to our customers
  • Assist with revising orders after receiving allocations from buyers
    • Revise order in EDI and/or M10
    • Communicate revision to warehouse/supplier and send revised picking tickets or PO’s
  • Assist with handling overallocation reports
    • Communicating changes to customers
    • Making revision in M10
    • Sending revised picking tickets to warehouses

Job Requirements:

Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)

  • High school graduate or equivalent


  • Customer service and data entry experience

Other Skills/ Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of customer service preferences
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient in ERP Systems
  • Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong public relation and communication skill
