As a VerifFone Helpdesk Prestige Customer Support Representative, your job is to wave your magic wand (and expertise) to make sure that our customers (and even some of your colleagues!) get the most out of their VeriFone products, software and services. Position Summary:
The VeriFone Helpdesk Prestige Technical Support Representative supports users with troubleshooting VeriFone products, software, and services through a unique blend of customer focus and technical expertise. This position is responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting customer requests and issues via phone, chat, and email within a customer-centric call center environment. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists customers with installation, operational, maintenance and or training related inquiries for products and applications.
Assists team members with customer call support and acts as a knowledge resource for Legacy Technical Support Level 1 Representatives.
Follows documentation and training materials to diagnose, resolve and escalate customers’ calls.
Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures.
Develop and maintain positive customer relations while coordinating with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.

Knowledge and Experience:


Excellent knowledge of customer service practices and procedures. Stellar telephone and communications skills. Demonstrates self-control and empathy of customer situations.

  • Practical computer skills including use of MS Windows and MS Office
  • Familiarity with standard internet technologies
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the payment processing industry
  • Accurately type 25 words per minute

This position pays $16.00/ hour (!!!) and is a temp to hire opportunity.
