Volt Workforce Solutions is Now Hiring! We are looking for Distribution Laborers for our client in Reading, PA

Hours: 1^st Shift- 5:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Shift options: (M-Th) (T-F) or (W-Saturday) 4 days ten hours

Must be flexible for the overtime

2^nd Shift- 4:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. Shift options: (M-Th) (T-F) or (W-Saturday) 4 days ten hours

Must be flexible for the overtime

**OT and weekends could be mandatory**

This temp to hire position is a way to get your foot in the door with a great company!!  

Job Duties:

• Perform safety check of Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) prior to operation
• Operate PIV’s in a safe and appropriate manner
• Change vehicle batteries at assigned battery station
• Use scanning equipment to locate product in Distribution Center and ensure accurate inventory of goods
• Hand-manipulate product from primary location to cart, pallet, or plate
• Pick orders and prepare goods for shipment
• Manipulate product in a safe and effective manner using proper handling SOP
• Move materials within the Distribution Center
• Ensure the completeness and correctness of all orders filled
• Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquire screens

Physical Demands: 

• Ability to be on your feet all day and work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift, carry at least 50-100 lbs continuously throughout the day
• Ability to pull, push over 100 lbs with hand jack or other equipment 
• The building is NOT climate controlled so there could be extreme heat or cold at times
• Could work up to 12 hour shifts 
• Pre screening Drug and Background required
