We are looking for a Technician. Volt's Client is an American multinational technology company that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services.

Job Description

Originates and develops analysis methods to determine reliability of components, equipment and processes. Acquires and analyzes data. Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations and reports to define reliability problems and make recommendations for improvements. Conducts analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the required reliability approach for a particular situation, with consideration given to cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime, repair/replacement costs and weight, size and availability of materials/equipment. Determines cost advantages of alternatives and develops action plans that comply with internal/external customer demands for reliable processes/equipment to avoid failures.

  • Conduct experiments that explore new materials and help engineering understand how they will perform in customers hands.
  • Perform tests and documenting results in our secured-facility test labs. Test results will be reviewed at an executive level and have an impact on the final design of future products.
  • Scrutinize each test setup and procedure, then give feedback or suggestions for improvements.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills in all methods of communication.
  • Mac OS and Microsoft Office experience
