Electrical Engineer

This manufacturing company located in Denton, Texas which is a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of premium light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the company nameplates is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a full-time, direct role.

The client also designs and manufactures advanced diesel engines, provides financial services, information technology, and distributes truck parts related to its principal business. The company is a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of high-quality light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks. This position will be responsible for the activities related to implementing the project for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV).

Responsible for engineering definition, development, design, validation, and production support. Duties involve engineering assistance, problem resolution, training and other engineering duties supporting various aspects of production, applying standard engineering techniques with degree of supervision varying with experience. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate requires Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Education, Business, or Engineering, or an Associates/Technical degree with a combination of extensive applicable work experience in lieu of a Bachelors. Experience in the maintenance and/or servicing of diesel trucks, automotive, and/or machinery. company service, diesel engines, and after treatment systems experience is a plus.

Minimum one-year of training or instructional experience, technical training preferred. Travel up to 50%. Background in curriculum and training program development from inception to delivery of a program. Ability to assist with developing trainings using various media including classroom, on-line presentations, video and manuals. Familiarity with MS Teams is a plus.
