Job Description

This position involves the support of the engineering efforts for electronic products development. The candidate will work closely with a team of engineers supporting debugging activities, prototype assembly and test, PCB repair, electromechanical assembly and bread board circuit creation as required to bring new products to market. The candidate will participate in PCB layout, component footprint creation, bill of materials maintenance, prototype component acquisition and PCB library maintenance and participate in schematic diagram and PCB design reviews. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the electronics lab and lab equipment in an orderly fashion as well as organization of components for prototype assembly and repair. This

Required Skills Required Hardware Skills Include:
• Hand soldering small components (0402 and 0201) using hot air and/or soldering iron
• Surface mount and through hole PCB repair
• Proper operation and knowledge of standard tools including, bench supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
• Basic digital and analog debugging techniques
• Read and understand electronic schematic diagrams
