VOLT is working with our client, a world leader in the electronics component manufacturing industry, as they continue to grow and add to the team!  We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Lead/Schedulers/Planners for an estimated 6 month contract opportunity.

Job Summary

  • Plan and coordinate single or multiple medium to large or high complexity lab projects
  • Work with inter-disciplinary engineering lab teams to get the desired end results
  • Manage all aspects of project scope development, cost estimates and test schedules by collaborating both within the engineering lab organization
  • Review complex test plans and make recommendations for changes and/or clarification of test plan elements. 
  • Coordinate both external and internal resources and influencing cross functional stakeholders as well as effectively resolving issues and managing conflict.
  • Initiate external request for quotes and interfacing with the outside testing resources to bring projects to successful completion. 


  • Bachelors in an Engineering discipline.
  • 5 years of total experience in Electronics Testing or Product Development, Planning or Scheduling role with 5+ years of Project Management experience, leading projects from cradle to grave.  Minimum 8 years Project experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.
  • Formal project management training or certifications is a plus
  • A track record of managing several test lab projects simultaneously
  • Must have excellent leadership, organization and communication skills along with problem solving and conflict management skills
  • MS Project is a plus
  • Experience leading projects in the automotive sector is a plus, but not required.
