Great Opportunity for Engineering Technicians looking for work in Boston, MA! Flexible Wednesday- Sunday Schedule!
Responsibilities:
- Perform in-house calibration and maintenance of production equipment
- Coordinate on-site calibration and maintenance with contract service providers.
- Create, update and maintain equipment service records
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
- Work with engineering and management staff on process development and validation activities
- Create or revise controlled documentation as required
- Assist in the transfer of processes and/or equipment into development or production
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Required. Associates Degree Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a regulated medical device environment performing equipment calibration and maintenance
- Experience with precision equipment calibration - temperature, pressure, dimensional, etc.
- Experience with maintaining a calibration system
- Experience with managing calibration vendors and scheduling calibration activities
- Experience with the use of standard test equipment such as multimeters
- Experience with the use of basic mechanical hand tools (saws, drill press, grinder). Manual machining skills (with use of lathe / milling machine) are a plus
- Must have PC experience, especially with Microsoft office packages i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- CAD experience (AutoCAD) a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
