Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth analysis of actual financial performance to provide feedback to management, determine value drivers, and explain discrepancies from targeted performance
  • Collect data and timely prepare monthly gross margin accruals to determine financial performance 
  • Lead development and maintenance of company’s corporate model through working with multiple teams within the organization to ensure dependencies are reflected and assumptions are updated
  • Assists in the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Prepare insightful analysis to help management evaluate business development and organic growth projects
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize data for accurate preparation of journal entries and company’s financials
  • Collaborate with operating departments to ensure accurate financial reporting of various operating activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years related experience in finance; 2+ years of Public Accounting experience is highly preferred and will be considered as well
  • Professional certifications (CPA or CFA) are a plus, but not required
  • Interest and comfort in working with large data sets
  • Understanding of financial modeling concepts and best practices
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and Accounting standards
  • Highly skilled in advanced Excel functionality supporting analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
