Job Description

HVAC Company near Burbank CA needs an experienced Commercial Foreman with at least 5 years of management experience and 8+ years of HVAC installations.

Position offers a salary of $70,000- $95,000 depending on experience. 

  • You must have Commercial HVAC Installation experience, duct work, electrical and mechanical related knowledge and experience.  
  • You must have experience managing a team of 5 HVAC Installers 
  • You must be able to read and interpret Blueprints and job plans

HVAC Foreman Job Summary

We need knowledgeable, experienced HVAC foreman to coordinate operations and oversee the completion of the project with a keen awareness of material expenses, permits, and employee safety. The ideal applicant will have a solid background in the field, strong leadership skills and the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized and strongly focused on safety above all.

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all safety rules are always being followed at all sites
  • Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities, plans, weather, supply delivery, and personnel
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities and individual projects to the crew and contractors.
  • Train employees and contractors
  • Emphasis on the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment including training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or degree in construction Engineering or related fields or certification in a skilled trade
  • 5+ years’ experience as a HVAC foreman and 8+ years’ experience in HVAC industry, Installation and Maintenance
  • Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance, use and OSH guidelines
  • Understanding of use and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others
  • Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities is a must
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus +
