Job Description

Major technology company is seeking a Front-End Developer whom will be responsible for consulting, planning and the administration support for the Support AEM platform. Help lead in AEM Project implementation, development and training efforts. Serving as a key technical role in web production, web pages, templates, and components for both the authoring and front-end experiences. This role will also require the ability to proactively provide guidance on AEM Projects, receive direction from business units and other non-IT staff and deliver innovative web solutions to solve business needs. Participate in web projects when incorporating vendor software tools and APIs in order to meet business requirements and enhance the user experience. Provide training for AEM implementation as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Build websites and applications using Adobe Experience Manager.

• Design and develop components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM Technologies (Java, Sightly, Sling, CRX, HTL, JSP).

• Create UI for Web Production to update business critical content to

• Collaborate with technology teams to build and maintain web applications using Adobe's Experience Manager CMS to include site architecture, custom components, and workflow development.

• Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements, provide work breakdown and estimates of work.

• Participate in functional specification, design and code reviews.

• Work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment.

• 3+ years in enterprise web development for major public-facing web site. (Candidate must have prior experience intranet/internet web sites development).

• 2+ years directly involved with Day CQ5 / Adobe Experience Manager development.

• Experience with AEM 6.0/6.2/6.3

• Solid development experience for web applications in Java/J2EE technologies.

• Experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS, LESS or SASS and related front-end technologies.

• Experience with Agile development including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews and planning.

• Understanding of Continuous Integration/Deployment/Delivery practices tools and process.

• Knowledge of modern web development practices such as Git, SVN, Maven and Agile development.

• BS/BA in a related field and/or equivalent experience
