Volt Workforce Solutions is currently hiring a part-time, experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper. A successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with general office duties as well as managing all accounting transactions.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expense reports, general office duties
- Bookkeeper and Payroll
- Manage all accounting transactions, prepare budget forecasts
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Maintain finance logs and general ledger
- Create financial statements and related financial reports
- Reconcile AP GL account to AP Aging report
- Process & submit monthly Workers’ Comp information
- Monitor aging / work closely with Controller
- 401K monitoring-eligibility, enrollment, & year end reporting
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Must have QuickBooks background experience
- 5 plus years of accounting and Bookkeeping experience
- Familiar with payroll online taxes
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Familiarity with MS Office suite/ proficient MS Excel
- Familiar Sage Software is plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- AS degree in Accounting preferred
