Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently hiring a part-time, experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper. A successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with general office duties as well as managing all accounting transactions.

  • Expense reports, general office duties
  • Bookkeeper and Payroll
  • Manage all accounting transactions, prepare budget forecasts 
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable 
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Maintain finance logs and general ledger 
  • Create financial statements and related financial reports
  • Reconcile AP GL account to AP Aging report
  • Process & submit monthly Workers’ Comp information
  • Monitor aging / work closely with Controller
  • 401K monitoring-eligibility, enrollment, & year end reporting


  • Must have QuickBooks background experience 
  • 5 plus years of accounting and Bookkeeping experience
  • Familiar with payroll online taxes
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite/ proficient MS Excel
  • Familiar Sage Software is plus
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Attention to detail 
  • AS degree in Accounting preferred
