Job Description

General Ledger Accountant needed for a great family owned company in Carpinteria CA! allot of growth opportunity with this company. This is a Direct Hire Perm Job Opportunity. 

Responsibilities include:

Overseeing all journal entries, reconcile financial statements and accounts, and ensure data accuracy. Analyzing and ensuring accuracy of data, must be detail-oriented, organized, and accurate.

• Prepare journal entries, reconcile financial statements and account 
• Executing accounting data to internal tax accountant as necessary for corporate income tax filings
• Developing bank reconciliations, intra-company reconciliations, and other month-end general ledger reconciliations
• Managing journal entries and ensure proper general ledger coding in support of monthly closings

Responsibilities are keeping record of a company's total financial accounts. Accounts records include: assets, liabilities, equity, expenses, and income or revenue.

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred with 3-5 years of hands on GL Accounting working for a company with 200+ employees. 

Agriculture Industry experience preferred. 

Schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm
