Job Description:

The IT Systems Analyst will primarily work in the OSIsoft PI space. S/he consults with end users and stakeholders (Project Managers, Scrum team, technologists, vendors, etc.) and conducts technical analysis of systems and applications in order to design, build, configure, implement, test as effectively as possible. Investigates problems with existing systems and delivers solutions while maintaining systems compatibility and enabling integration. Experience with Esri GIS and/or OSIsoft/Esri integrations is highly desired.

The IT Systems Analyst works within an Agile delivery team.  Primary responsibilities include consulting with end users and stakeholders conducting technical analysis of systems and applications in order to implement, configure and test commercial-off-the-shelf applications.  Works closely with Application Operations teams in hand-off/support stage


  • Experience with Client/Server advance configurations, troubleshooting
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in systems analysis, requirements definition, system design and system implementation 
  • 2-3 years of SQL development skills including stored procedures, functions, tables, indexes, triggers, views, etc.
  • Experience configuring, supporting and maintaining new or existing OSIsoft PI systems
  • Experience or knowledge of installation of PI System in a High Availability configuration and setting up interfaces with Failover configuration.
  • Experience with PI Data Analyzation/Visualization utilizing PI Asset Framework and PI Vision
  • Experience working with PI Data Archive versions with knowledge of data archive migration from legacy versions to new version.
  • Solid understanding of Utility industry and its principles.
  • Experience integrating PI system with Client SCADA system which includes installation of interface, interface configuration and setting up PI points and tuning
  • Experience with PI Asset Framework, PI Analyses, PI Event Frames, PI Notifications
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, especially as consultation and accurate communication with non-technical individuals on technical matters 
  • Must have strong troubleshooting skill set
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with and work effectively with diverse groups of people 

Highly Desired:

  • Experience of knowledge of OSIsoft-Esri integration
  • Experience or knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Desktop client application
  • Experience of knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Server for creating services
  • Experience with Esri ArcGIS Online and configuration of web maps
  • Experience with Esri mobile applications such as Collector, Survey123, and Workforce
  • Experience with Python, java script, C#, PowerShell
