Wine Cellar Assistant

Our client is a fast-paced, new start-up, looking for a team member to join their winery at ground floor level. - This team member understand that this job requires a variety of tasks outside of traditional wine making. - They are specifically looking for a team member with experience in business, marketing, sales knowledge and a willingness to pitch in where ever needed. - The team member will be required to supervise other team members on the bottling line 2-3 days a week. - This team member will be overseeing different operations on tanks/barrels/kegs, running tests, transferring, clarifying, filtering, bottling while maintaining a well-organized and superb cellar hygiene keeping everything cleaned and sanitized. - This team member will have SOP ‘s in place, all supplies, wine maintenance and inventory, very detailed, recorded and highly organized including all activities. At the same time have the information ready to report to management and review plans and execution. - This team member is prepared and be willing to work long days (including weekends and holidays) depending on the product or season we are working at that specific time of the year. Including working with management on planning our inevitable fast grow and expansion. This team member should expect that all operation
processes require physical activity.
