Hardware Electrical Engineer

This company located in Everett, WA (near Seattle) is seeking a Hardware Electrical Engineer  for a direct, full-time opportunity As an Electrical Engineer, you will be supporting the manufacturing operations for the worldwide leader of many innovative and multi-functional solutions to help laboratories operate efficiently, increase throughput, and comply with today's quality standards. Versatile models and options provide a wide range of possibilities to match a variety of workloads and budgets.

Our electrical calibrator lineup includes: multi-product calibrators, multifunction calibrators, oscilloscope calibrators, power and energy calibrators, and pressure and temperature process calibrators. Coordinate and lead of sustaining engineering elements of the product life cycle. Improve internal manufacturing processes test yields, manufacturability, cycle times in the factory associated with producing quality product. Provide technical support to decrease internal and external quality failures. Coordinate, circuit redesign to accommodate replacements for end-of-life (EoL) components and improve manufacturability. Ownership of Value Analysis/Value Engineering.

Ownership of implementing, modifying and improving production test software. Lead kaizen, lean and drive continuous improvement projects as it pertains to manufacturing tests and flow. Uses and/or applies basic principles, theories, and concepts. Works effectively with engineering team members – Mechanical engineers, Engineering technicians and Supervisors. Understands Engineering’s impact on cost of doing business. Develops knowledge of customers and customer needs. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or equivalent preferred and have  5+ Years In depth experience in electronic theory, analogue, digital and mixed signal hardware design.

Over 2+ years of related electromechanical manufacturing or hardware design experience. Understanding of engineering documentation related to bill-of-materials, schematics, printed circuit boards and mechanical drawings. Competency in electronics circuit design, simulation (LTSpice) and troubleshooting. Some competency in Visual basic or LabVIEW test development.

Understanding of manufacturing KPI’s and LEAN principles. This person will work in a manufacturing environment. The person will on a team of 2 other engineers in and 2 technicians. This setting is a manufacturing environment.
