VOLT is seeking candidates for a Full time opportunity of Head of Direct Sales role for our client in Florida.

Person in this role will have ownership and responsibility for providing sales management and expertise to diverse teams that support the company’s objectives in a fast-paced and dynamic market. You will be a technology and solutions evangelist responsible for developing winning and innovative IT and Network solution proposals in high value opportunities with our Enterprise and Government customers that incorporate both direct and indirect (partner) collaboration solutions. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • A trusted advisor to executive level decision makers driving technology decisions, network evolution and transformation strategies
  • Identify customer opportunities, develop product/technology into industry-specific use cases and translate features into value propositions.
  • Expertise in sales of access network solutions with an active network of contacts with vendors/suppliers, customers
  • Effectively represents and communicates product and technology
  • Communicate, features, functionality and capability requirements to product management so they would need to address current and future roadmaps
  • Lead Demos/Workshops and own opportunity/deal scope definition (incl. commercial trials)
  • Own and actively develops relationships with customers and partners
  • Contribute to and defines the E2E sales strategy towards the segment and customer
  • Develops and articulates value proposition for products and solutions with customers
  • Provide commercial support to sales teams in developing proposals for customers for deployment of products and solutions and drive to commercial closure.
  • Provide support to tendering teams that are leading the proposal response process.  This includes leading the Go / No Go process to determine response strategy, and support on proposal response including developing solution summaries, assisting with RFx responses and Bid Defenses, and evaluate project risks.
  • Performs market analysis, monitoring competitive activity, and identifying customer needs and market trends
  • Develops business cases for key initiatives and manage associated offers
  • Contributes to key business reporting metrics (orders, revenues and margins) and deal flow (new, pending, closed deals, winning rate, rebids, etc.) trends
  • Supports strategic account planning with the Customer Team and Business Units

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • A creative and results-driven senior technology sales professional
  • MUST HAVE: Extensive years’ sales experience in wireless network solutions and software
  • At least 5 years’ experience in WiFi, Small cell, Mesh networking solutions
  • Experience in selling solutions leveraging Network Architectures, APIs and SDKs

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Bachelor of Engineering
