MSP Client Facing Field Support - Level 2 - Help Desk

North Tempe, AZ

One of the nation's leading providers of managed IT services and computer support for small/medium sized companies, is seeking a Level 2 Field Technician. This role is responsible for supporting clients with all IT-related needs including server, network, and desktop support issues. Client environments are technically diverse and range in complexity. The ideal candidate will need to be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, can prioritize activities, and outstanding problem-solving skills. This individual must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. You will spend 50% of  your time offering support via help desk and remoting in the remaining 50% of your time in the field on site with various clients.

Requirements:

MSP environment - experience must be recent in the following areas:

  • MUST HAVE recent experience with MSP Client Facing FIELD support - not remoting in 
  • MUST have recent MSP provider experience - not in house or corporate 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Extensive desktop support / troubleshooting - via help desk and in person 
  • Hardware Repair and Upgrades
  • Virus / Malware removal
  • Basic Setup and configuration of networking equipment
  • Basic setup and configuration of servers
  • Active Directory updates
  • Configuring backup solutions
  • Experience with RMM (Remote monitoring and management) tools a plus
  • Microsoft Exchange / Outlook support
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Configuring a variety of smart phones / tablets
  • Strong experience with troubleshooting networks and servers
  • Some MAC OS experience helpful

The Level 2 Technician will provide additional support to Level 1 and Level 2 Technicians in the for assignments that are more complex in nature. 

Our firm requires certifications (CompTIA, Cisco and/or Microsoft).

Must be able to pass technical skills assessment, background/criminal check and drug screening process.
