Volt is searching for a Technical Help Desk Specialist RIGHT NOW for a Leading Defense Contractor in Oak Ridge, TN. This is a 6-month temp to hire opportunity.

As a Technical Help Desk Specialist, you can expect to:

Provide account administration services to include account creation, password resets, account unlocks.

Proven knowledge and ability to install and uninstall software remotely.

Troubleshoot hardware and software.

Perform Remote Access as well as VPN support.

Document all calls via ticketing system.

****Training will be for 4 weeks on day shift. Work is performed in a 24/7/365 environment. Scheduled shifts will be determined at a later date based on the current need.

Technical Call Center Specialist candidates must meet the following requirements for immediate consideration:

Proven experience in a technical call center or help desk environment providing assistance with general questions, account administration (password resets and account unlocks), install/uninstall software as well as troubleshoot, VPN support.

Experience troubleshooting remotely.

Analytical thinking and ability to act decisively in critical situations.

High School education or GED and 2+years of relevant technical experience or Bachelor’s degree.

Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with BMC Remedy or similar ITSM software
Experience with Microsoft office
Experience with Outlook

A Public Trust clearance will be required.

Pay is $18hr!
