HPC Program Manager

Location: Austin, TX                

Salary Range: $120K and Up                              

Required Degree: Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Degree Preferred

Required Experience: 7+ years exp. needed (Sr. Mgr. ~Director)

Travel: 10-20%

Position Summary:

Our client product/project management and manage a cross functional team to strategically work with internal and external customers to support business development. Our client helps organizations optimize their productivity and make smarter business decisions using their enterprise software solutions for secure mobility, HPC managed services, DOOH, and advanced analytics and contextual marketing. They enable their customers in government, financial services, retail, and other industries to drive business and improve their competitive positions in a hyper-connected economy.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the life cycle of HPC program initiatives, including providing support for business development and directing technical strategy   
  • Lead, motivate and guide technical team to research, evaluate and test HPC strategies
  • Collaborate with end users to determine HPC needs, and translate needs into business requirements to drive sales and improvements
  • Support and oversee the RFP for potential customers and internal reporting
  • Direct the development of project strategy and budget
  • Successfully deliver projects on time

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience working with Linux-based HPC cluster architecture, deployment and operations of high-performance computing and storage technologies
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, system administration tools, methodologies, and security practices
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated program management experience defining business strategy and successful technical execution
  • Proven ability to lead projects and work with cross functional teams, internal and external customers
  • Ability to analyze a wide range of system related problems
  • Organized, analytical, strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communications skills
