Job Description

Experienced HR Manager needed immediately. Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish). This is s Direct Hire in Office role with an Agriculture company in Carpinteria CA. This Agriculture Industry is very profitable and growing! 

You will be aiding with recruitment, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.

You must have a 3-5 years of HR Manager experience in a support role. You must have direct HR experience knowledge with Wage & Hour, Regulations and Ca Labor Law.

  • Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
  • Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
  • Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
  • Creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities
  • Evaluating employee performance and appraising their pay scale accordingly

~Assist with Implementing and administering employee policies
~Sets appointments and meetings for the other HR Manager & Director 

~Workers Compensation knowledge is a great plus+
~Assist the Manager in maintaining positive relationships with employees
~Prepare paperwork as needed for the HR Manager 
~Knowledge of HR policies and procedures and Labor Laws
~Strong knowledge of hiring processes
~Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
~Knowledge of Employment Law 
~High level of professionalism and discretion and confidentiality  
~Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
~Agriculture environment experience is a great plus +
~Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required. 

~First Aid CPR Certified is a great +, if you are not you have to be willing to get certified and be willing to administer first aid if needed.

Dress Code: Business casual and conservative. Must not be sensitive to noise or smells. Does not mind getting dirty and doing job walks with employees.

Position Included Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and  Retirement IRA. 

Salary is $85,000- $110,000 depending of expertise 

The schedule is Mon- Fri and occasional Saturdays
