Volt is seeking a HR Specialist for a thriving Fortune 500 enterprise! The HR Specialist is responsible for administrative human resources related activities. This role will perform other HR generalist related work and special projects as assigned.  This is a temporary contract working remote for the next 6 months, possibly return to office, in the West Coast time zone/ San Francisco, California.

Position will primarily focus in:

  • On-boarding and off-boarding activities
  • Virtual orientations
  • HR documents for SAP processing
  • Report generation
  • Auditing HR data for accuracy in SAP and local production tools
  • Training employees on time entry
  • Assisting employees to connect with the right resources for assistance
  • Working on local HR programs and services

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Presentation Skills
  • Maturity / discretion in handling sensitive/confidential information and issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with G Suite is a plus
  • Report writing experience is a plus
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Workday experience is a plus

Education/ Experience:

  • B.A. in HR-related field or Relevant applied work experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in HR coordination role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment is a plus
