Volt Information Sciences, Inc. is an international provider of staffing services, outsourcing solutions, and information technology infrastructure services.
Our staffing services include providing contingent workers to our client as well other professional administration services.

The HR Coordinator will support Volt's internal payroll services team will all onboarding document collection and payroll administration for its contingent work force.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding payroll service contractors, initiating drug/background screening, on-line paperwork, and coordinating Form I-9 completion
  • Review customer criteria to make sure all pre-employment screening and forms are completed and meet customers criteria, and that new hire employment paperwork is completed to ensure compliance to federal and state regulations
  • Monitor candidate onboarding status throughout the day, contacting candidates as needed and providing updates to program staff and clients and updating onboarding tracker
  • Provide new start with timekeeping and expense reporting information to new starts, in line with client processes
  • Complete data entry and document uploads in internal ATS systems as well as client VMS portal; maintaining employee electronic files
  • Provide exceptional employee customer service, building relationships and de-escalating issue situations
  • Assist with creating and sending employee communications



Requirements:

  • Experience in the staffing industry, payroll, human resources or related area preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail, while handling and prioritizing multiple items
  • Strong phone and email communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
