Job Description

We are hiring for a Customer Service & Inside Sales team member to market our laboratory analysis services to new and existing customers. This is a full-time position working in Fullerton.

We are looking for a motivated, energetic and goal oriented person with sales experience, preferably within B2B sales and customer service. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and implement new customer prospecting plans
  • Close new project business
  • Manage house accounts
  • Re-qualify current clients
  • Maintain relationships and identify new opportunities with existing customers; develop and implement plans for increasing sales
  • Manage and lead the overall sales process for each selling opportunity with support from laboratory operations
  • Provide detailed information for laboratory operations to successfully meet customer expectations.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software 
  • Identify key decision makers
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Create proposals pricing
  • Participate in pricing negotiations with customers

To be successful in this position, a candidate MUST HAVE:

  • 3 or more years of customer service & Inside Sales experience preferably within B2B sales 
  • Experience working on telephone and emailing at a high volume
  • B.S. Degree (preferred, not required)

Required skills and abilities:

  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using CRM software
  • Strong planning and organizational skills; written and oral communication skills; resources and task management skills
  • Ability to develop and execute sales prospect plans
  • Ability to qualify customer needs
  • Excellent questioning and listening skills
  • High energy level, sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Self-directed with strong initiative, and self-sufficiency
  • Prior success performing ALL aspects of the sales process – prospecting, qualifying, negotiations, servicing, account management and closing
