Instructional Designer

Start Date: ASAP ( Mon- Fri 8am - 5pm)

Pay rate: up to $34/hr DOE

Contract assignment 24 months! 

JOB SUMMARY: 

Works collaboratively to analyze instructional outcomes and provides expertise in the planning, development, and delivery of high-quality learning experiences to include but not limited to computer-based training (CBT).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF ALL LEVELS:  

  • Writes instructional text, audio and video scripts.
  • Responsible for devising modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course.
  • Responsible for planning and managing course development and design projects.
  • Utilizes eLearning development tools and software as part of course development.
  • Designs on-line training courses and instructor-led classroom training.
  • Identifies methodologies to be used to deliver content.
  • Organizes the content and flow of information.
  • Develops learning objectives, structure learning activities, create visual aids for on-line and face-to-face interactions.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

2 years’ instructional design

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

ACCOUNTABILITY/COMPLEXITY:

  • Works independently on moderately complex projects/assignments and seeks guidance on projects/assignments of higher complexity.
  • May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees.
